Who said you can't have a mobile phone and a portable multimedia player in a single device? Certainly not Samsung folks - they've announced the new Samsung SCH-V700 Portable Multimedia Player phone in Korea.

This CDMA/WCDMA based clamshell phone has a unique rotating screen design. Flip open the phone and then rotate the screen 90 degrees to bring the display into landscape mode. You'll instantly get a widescreen display as opposed to the normal color screen found on today's cell phone.

The phone has 200 MB of internal memory and supports RS-MMC memory cards for additional storage space. The SCH-V700 has a TV-Out port allowing you to show your videos on a monitor or television display. Oh yes - there's also a built in digital audio player and an integrated digital camera (with what appears to be a flash?)
