Samsung as mentioned by us displayed its new range of high end DVD camcorders in CES 2006. We already covered the SC-CD564 and now its the Samsung SC-CD565's turn, which is an upgrade to its predecessor. Just like SC-CD564 it also features offers compatible with all key single layer DVD formats as well as dual layer +R disc and high capacity direct recording.

The Samsung SC-CD565 at $599.99 almost 50 $ costlier than SC-DC564 combines a 1.1 Mega pixel DVD camcorder with a 2.7 inch wide LCD. The 4in 1 memory card is also compatible with primary memory card formats: Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Multimedia Card and Secure Digital cards. The extraordinary 26x Optical Zoom which is the best in the world and the 1200x Digital Zoom results in brilliant picture quality. An additional feature being that it plays mp3 flawlessly on its 16:9 wide-screen.

According to Aaron Novak, Marketing Manager for Camcorders “Samsung is proud to offer consumers the broadest format compatibility and choices in a DVD camcorder,” He further mentions that Samsung has also include a DVD-RW disc bundle for added convenience. This model will also be available by March 2006 and one can’t wait to get their hands on it.
