Samsung SC-DC165 DVD Camera Recorder
The Samsung SC-DC165 DVD camera recorder, was announced at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show. This recorder is equipped with a 2.7" TFT LCD for preview and is capable of displaying 230k colors. The CCD used is 680k pixels.
The SC-DC165 runs off 7.4 Li-ion rechargeable batteries, or an 8.4V DC adapter. Audio recording is possible through the omni-directional stereo microphone. With a F1.6 lens, the camera offers 33x optical and 1200x digital zoom.
Digital still images can be captured at a passable 800x600 pixel resolution. Images can be stored on Memory Stick Duo or MMC cards, thanks to compatible slots provided on the camera. Approximate pricing for the SC-DC165 DVD camera recorder is US $499. Check out Samsung's website for more.
