q1.jpgThe much anticipated Samsung Ultra-Mobile PC was first showcased at the technology Mecca CeBIT 2006, and it looked like a potential winner. Now a few lucky journalists will catch a glimpse of it first hand on May 1 in San Francisco in an event organized by Samsung. The Samsung Q1 is a truly mobile PC as it features an integrated 7 inch wide LCD display and includes applications for a complete multimedia experience, wireless internet, digital broadband and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Samsung Q1 is powered by the Intel CPU and runs on the Windows XP Tablet OS. It weighs just about 779 grams and includes a touch screen method input with DMB and navigational capabilities. It will retail in South Korea for $1264 but the prices for Europe and US are still unannounced
