Samsung P900D Cell Phone
With the IFA set to start this weekend, Samsung will be unleashing the new Samsung SGH-P900D Dual T-DMB cell phone. Featuring a landscape format design and stereo speakers, the P900D is made for TV on the move, taking off from where its predecessor, the P900, left behind.
Mobile TV customers in Germany already access four channels, with support for up to 20 channels in total, which is where the P900D comes in handy. Apart from the wide array of TV and radio channels, visual radio makes its presence felt as well.
Not to be settling for just mobile TV, the Samsung SGH-P900D includes an MP3 player, digital amp for audio and, more importantly, TV output. With 150MB on-board memory, the phone features a MicroSD expansion slot. A 2-megapixel camera and Bluetooth round up the feature list.
Hope DMB starts becoming mainstream soon, and not restricted to European cities - otherwise it'd be a terrible waste of these phones. Catch a demo at hall 20 in the IFA, Berlin starting September 1, 2006.
