On display at the CES 2007 show this week is the Samsung P9000, a UMPC-like convergence device capable of providing voice and multimedia data communications through Mobile WiMAX technology. It combines Windows XP, a 30GB hard disk, 256MB RAM, 1Ghz CPU, WiMAX, CDMA EV-DO, and a 1.3 megapixel camera. All this fits into a compact 5.6" X 3.7" X 1.17" size, with a 5" display and weight of 1.28lbs. It also comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and MP3, VOD, and camera functions.
