Samsung NV10 Digital CameraSamsung certainly seems to be on a roll with its New Vision (NV) series of digital camera. One of the latest cameras in this series, the Samsung NV10 was unveiled by Samsung. This 10.1 megapixel camera has all the goodies seen on the Samsung NV3 digital camera, and then some.

One of the first digital cameras to sport a touch-screen interface, the NV10 comes with a 2.5" LCD and meaures just 0.7" thick. No more rotary dials when it comes to operating the camera menu; you can use the convenient touch pad for this and much more now. With Schneider optics, you can't go wrong on image quality. The lens offers 3x optical zoom as well as 5x digital.

You can record VGA resolution video at 30 fps and view it without loss of quality on larger screens, like a TV. In-camera movie editing functions mean that you no longer require a PC all the time. This holds true for digital still images as well, with special effects like sepia toning, photo frame, negative image and others right on the camera.

The Samsung NV10 also includes Text Recognition, where you can photograph pages and then extract text from them using Digimax Reader software bundled with the camera.

Priced at US $399.99, the Samsung NV10 will be available this fall.
