Samsung NEXUS Portable XM Satellite RadioThe wait is over! Samsung, at the 2006 CES, announced its first Portable XM Satellite Radio with MP3 playback support, with the introduction of the Samsung NEXUS digital audio player. The NEXUS is compact, measuring in at 3.4" (H) x 1.8" (W) x 0.6" (D). When docked in a car docking station or in your home, the NEXUS can deliver live XM Satellite Radio content for your listening pleasure.

The NEXUS is available in two models, the NEXUS 25 (capable of storing up to 25 hours of XM content) and NEXUS 50 (50 hour content storage). One of the cool features of the NEXUS is the bookmark feature, which allows you to maintain songs heard over XM, which can later be purchased online from the XM + Napster service.

For the business user, it also comes with a live stock ticker, while the sports enthusiast can like its sports ticker. TuneSelect is another useful feature, which alerts the listener when a favorite band/song is played on any XM channel.

If all this is not enough, the NEXUS also comes with integrated FM transmitter allowing you to beam the content to any FM receiver. For more information on the Samsung NEXUS Portable XM Satellite Radio, visit Samsung. Info about XM radio is available at XM radio.
