Samsung MM-A940 Clamshell PhoneSamsung's new MM-A940 is a clamshell phone supporting EV-DO (for CDMA 850/CDMA 1900 networks) and streaming video. The phone also sports a 2 megapixel camera and, thankfully, Bluetooth support. The internal display is a 176x220 262k color screen. Talktime is nothing to write home about, at just about 4 hours on a full charge, but standby time is much bigger, at 293 hours.

Thanks to the 1x EV-DO support, you have high-speed access to the net - good enough for receiving streaming video content. The phone weighs about 139 grams, so it may feel a bit heavy in your pocket. The camera comes with 2x optical zoom, LED flash, and an interesting feature: business card scanner. It's not clear if software is provided to automatically transfer the card details to the phone's address book, but if this feature is available, it'd be great.

A stereo headset jack is provided so you can enjoy MP3/AAC/AAC+ playback on the phone (songs can be stored on an external microSD/Transflash mem card).

More info about the Samsung MM-A940 is available from Samsung's website.
