Samsung is done showing solidarity towards Blu-Ray and is now also concentrating its energies on HD-DVD. Don’t know the reason behind the sudden change of heart but the upcoming Samsung M55 now has HD DVD capabilities.

The Samsung M55 measures 4.4-mm thick and weighs around 3kgs. It is equipped with a 17-inch widescreen with a resolution of 1920x1200. It draws it juice from the Intel T2500 Core processor and includes 256MB GeForce 7600 Go graphics, up to 120GB of SATA disk, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and SRS Audio capabilities. You can get hold of the M55 soon and it would retail for around €3,000/$3,810!
