Samsung Korea Launches SPH-V8400 ,SCH-V840 ,SPH-V8450 Mobiles at 3GSM
Samsung Korea has just unveiled a series of mobile phones in the colour white at the world's premier mobile event the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona. The SCH-V840, SPH-V8400 and the SPH-V8450 had already generated a lot of buzz and now in the trendy colour white Samsungs hopes to further generate their sales. This new line of 'Super Slim' handsets have already sold around 9000 units and Samsung Korea wants to capture this growing market.
The white versions of the SPH-V8400 (SCH-V840 / SPH-V8450), SPH-V8450 are slider phones and boasts of exceptionally rich features. The SPH-V8400 is just 15.9mm-thick and has a 1.3MP camera thus making it compact and functional. It also has a unique function which Samsung calls an. “airplane mode which which automatically turns off the call function but lets customers use other functions on their flight.
Some other features also that figure in the new slider series are MP3 audio playback, MS Office / PDF / JPG / TXT Picsel viewer, photo editor, voice recognition, flight-mode, dictionary, PictBridge wireless printing, and microSD memory card storage. When talking about the battery, Samsung has a winner on its hand. The battery can give about 50 minutes of talk-time and 70-205 hours of standby time. This series will exclusively be for the Korean Users around March 2006 and will be priced at about 500,000 won.
