Sprint added a new cellphone in their collection, the Samsung Smart Device IP-830w runs with Windows Mobile 5.2 and comes with 64MB of RAM and 128MB of ROM. The “candy bar” blue phone uses a sliding system to hide the QWERTY keyboard underneath, on the top part it has TFT screen display with substantial dimensions - 1.7” x 2.27 – that can boost a 240 x 320 resolution and 262 thousand colors.

On the inside of the IP-830w there is a 520mhz Intel Processor and the battery life depends on which type of battery you use: with the standard battery it can hold 3.4 hours of continuous talk while the extended battery pumps it up to 5.5 hours - don't worry because these two accessories are included in the box. Special features include a expansion slot for a SD card, using it as a modem for a internet connection, a voice recorder + a built-in speaker phone, and (the most important) ability to connect with a telephone typewriter device so deaf people can follow and comment a conversation.
