The Korean Photo & Imaging 2006 is in full swing right now and the dedicated staff of Samsung has just showcased a whole slew of digital cameras which has not been shown anywhere else. However the most anticipated no doubt would be the Samsung GX II. This new camera is a DSLR and according to some sources would have an impressive 10 mega pixel resolution. Very little is known about the elusive GX 2 but it does bear an uncanny resemblance to the 10MP Pentax istD. This is not surprising since the camera is a product of a joint collaboration between Pentax and Samsung. According to some experts the GX 2 will pick up and would in most probability include a large, 2.5-inch LCD and renowned Schneider optics.
