Samsung and Eidicom have jointly produced the EW-700 smart phone, and they claim that it has a Post-PC mobile media processor. To be honest, I am not familiar with the term “Post-PC”. I realize that I may have given away a lot of ignorance, with this last sentence, because unless is the “Political Correctness” acronym, I personally don’t believe we are in the “Post PC” era yet. After all, I’m typing this on a PC.

Then again, if all phones were like the Samsung EW-700, perhaps we would not need PCs. After all, this guy has a web browser, instant messaging options, mp3 player, and a video player. It is also capable of photo stills with a 2 megapixel camera, and I’m told it can shoot video stills.

Yeah, it can probably do just as much as my laptop. However, I did notice one thing that I would have liked to see: a QWERTY keyboard. Ah, perhaps we are not in the Post-PC era yet.
