There is a built in movie stabilization which detects and corrects minor lateral and vertical camera movement. Other exclusive movie functions involve continuous video recording, improved in-camera video editing and the ability to use the 3x optical zoom while recording. Special effects includes color Effect, Highlight, Photo Frame, Negative and Composite Shot while the 11 Scene Modes feature settings like Night, Portrait, Children, Landscape, Close-up, Sunset, Backlight, Fireworks, Beach & Snow and Text Recognition. With Text Recognition users can shoot documents such as books, papers and magazines and then extract text from the image taken using the bundled "Digimax Reader" text recognition software.

The Samsung Digimax L60 also has a great Macro Mode where the Auto Macro function automatically adjusts shooting distance and focus between 5cm to infinity the i6 has a built in editing and trimming function which provides for further control. There is a cool Rotating function present in the 16 which saves an image in any desired direction. The L60 has a 32 MB built in memory and Copy to Card function which transfer images from the internal memory to external memory.
