RTX USB DUALphone Now Compatible With myJabber

RTX America and myJabber announced that RTX's DUALphone, a USB cordless phone, is compatible with myJabber's VoIP Softphone client. This is good news for home users and business users of the myJabber service.

The softphone from myJabber is nothing more than a piece of software that you essentially install on your PC/laptop and make calls over the Internet from any convenient location.

RTX America on the other hand leverages on its expertise in the DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephony) cordless technology to offer better audio quality in its DUALphone USB phone. Simplicity is RTX's keyword, with an easy setup process.

The reason it's called the DUALphone is that it's a regular cordless telephone combined with an Internet telephone - which means you can even setup simultaneous calls from one phone to the PSTN and the other phone calling via myJabber.

What's more, the phone offers a clear backlit LCD display and standard 2.5mm headset connector for handsfree usage. Priced at US $139.99, the RTX USB DUALphone packaged with myJabber softphone is available direct from myJabber's website. www.rtx.com
