After the da10, Rollei at the PMA Show has another new digital camera, it's the Rollei ds6 digital camera. A compact 6-megapixel camera, the ds6 features a 1/2.5" CCD sensor and offers a 2.5" color TFT display for previewing your images.

The Rollei ds6 also provides 3x optical zoom, but has better digital zoom at 4.4x than the da10. You can also use it to record video, and the integrated voice recording function is useful. Pitched at those entering the world of digital photography for the first time, the ds6 is capable of macro photography - capable of taking pictures of objects as close as 5cm.

Videos at 30fps and VGA resolution are possible, which can then be viewed on a TV thanks to the NTSC/PAL connectivity offered by the ds6. This runs off 2 AA batteries, and takes in SD card for storing your photos.
