Ricoh GR-Digital Wins TIPA Best Prestige Camera 2006 Award
Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), an organisation comprising European camera and video magazines, have conferred the coveted Best Prestige Camera in Europe 2006 to Ricoh's GR Digital compact camera.
The Ricoh GR Digital was unveiled in October 2005 and gained popularity for the high-resolution. Thanks to its high quality 28mm lens which can be used with a converter to cover angles up to 21mm, it provides superior quality images, making it a hit with amateurs and pros.
All this in a sleek 25mm body is, of course, too good to resist. Ricoh's efforts did not go unnoticed by the TIPA. The TIPA Awards, aimed at recognizing the best products in the photo/imaging field, awarded the Best Prestige Camera 2006 to the GR Digital.
