Ricoh.bmpYou have to admit that taking a digital picture and sending a digital picture has that often inconvenient middle-man of downloading the pictures onto your computer. Ricoh, a Japanese technology company, has found a way to make this process simpler with the creation of their new wireless digital camera.

The Capilo 500SE allows you to take a digital picture and then send it via Bluetooth. So transferring pictures to family or friends via cell phone is now easier-than-ever. The camera also has a model W which can send pictures via B/G WiFi, so it is as easy as click, save, send, and enjoy.

The 8.1- megapixel camera features a 3X optical zoom and a 2.5 inch LCD screen. It has a hard surface that makes it resistant to dust, water, and shock. It only features 26MB worth of memory, but supports SD cards.

The Capilo 500SE will soon be released in Japan, but it may take a while before it reaches overseas. The Bluetooth model is projected to retail at about $990.00 USD, while the 500SE W Wifi model should be $1,100.00 USD.
