lyra.jpgToshiba or RCA has finally got something right as The RCA Lyra X3000 has all the potential to be the perfect portable media player. This baby also moonlights as a state of the art media recorder and can record up to 40 feature-length films from multiple video sources without a PC. It features a 3.6-inch 320x240 LCD which offers a vivid and bright display and supports WMA, and has PlaysForSure technology. The RCA Lyra X3000 also features MPEG-4 technology and features a 20 GB HD. Not much details have been released yet, but the estimated price of the X3000 is around 400$.

Some other features include:
Compatible with both pay-per-song and subscription services, the LYRA X3000 can store hundreds of hours of mp3, Windows Media Audio, and Audible audio files – including those from popular PC-based subscription music and video services.

Additionally, this versatile jukebox offers the capability to create slide shows with zoom and photo rotation, and users can add their own music for further enhancement.
