RCA 25110RE3 Cordless Telephone
RCA announced that their new cordless/wireless telephone system, the RCA 25110RE3 (cryptic name, I wonder who named it), targeting SOHO offices. The headset is light-weight and can be used as either over-the-head or behind-the-ear model, making it suitable for all-day wearing.
The mic is attached to a hinge, so you can tilt it away when it's not being used. The handset is made to look much more like a cell phone with a stress on ergonomics, which is good. It provides Caller ID, Call Waiting, and separate Talk and Headset buttons allowing the user to switch between the headset and handset.
The 25110RE3, despite its painfully-difficult-to-remember name, is a very useful device. You can get one of these at $199 - a bit overpriced, if you ask me - and more information about the cordless telephone system is available from RCA's website.
