Plantronics Inc at the Plantronics Design: Body & Form event in New York City unveiled its latest stereo mobile headsets which constituted of the Pulsar(TM) 590 Stereo Bluetooth(R) headset series and MHS series of corded headsets. These new headsets by Platronics not only lets one listen to music in the highest quality of stereo sound but also acts like a hands free device for mobile phones where making or receiving calls is possible just by a click of the button.
The Pulsar 590E Stereo Bluetooth Headset seeks inspiration from the company’s’ popular Pulsar 590A and users can listen to music or answer/end calls via the headset and the phone which support stereo Bluetooth. The best part being, one doesn’t need any sort of wires or adapter; however the mobile should have an Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). The headset is equipped with a telescoping voice tube which results in clear and loud conversations and is compatible with any A2DP mobile phone.
The Pulsar 590E is capable of 12 hours of talking time and 10 hours of listening time and the foldable design makes it easier to carry it around. One is able to roam at a distance of up to 33 feet from the connected Bluetooth device and there are dedicated buttons for accessing call and music control functions on the headset it self. Another cool feature on the 590E is its ability to support Audio Visual Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) which remotely controls functions like mute, volume level or track forward/back.
