133X_4GB_CF.jpgPretec Electronic Corp., providers of memory cards and card readers such as CF, MMC, SD, and USB Flash Drive for the digital imaging, mobile communication, and industrial control markets, today announced the ultra high speed CF card, PRETEC 133X CF, highest Speed CF Card in the World at the PMA (Photo Marketing Association).

PRETEC 133X CF Card boasts of read/write access speeds up to 20MB/sec and 14MB/sec. It mainly surves the purpose to the max in applications such as high-resolution and high-speed digital cameras where faster write speed means lower set-up time between pictures is requiured. The new 133X CF(compact Flash) card from Pretec is almost twice as fast as its predecessor, PRETEC 80X CF card, which was the fastest CF card in the world two long years ago. The 133X CF is fully ATA/True IDE compatible and can be operated in both 5V and 3.3V platforms.

The 133X CF card comes with a full metal protection is workable in a wide range(-40 degrees C to 125 degrees C) working temperature and offer an ultimate level of data protection and security features. Pretec Secure CF card is the first in the world to offer ultimate security protection to reputable companies where secured access sometimes is as important as the data itself, especially in the industrial application where slight BIOS modification and SDK support can enable mission critical systems to utilize the full features of Pretec Secure CF card.
