Praktica Luxmedia 10 X-3, the Luxmedia 6203 and the DCZ 6.3 Digital Cameras
Pentacon announces three new digital cameras in the Praktica camera series, the Praktica Luxmedia 10 X-3, the Praktica Luxmedia 6203 and the Praktica DCZ 6.3. Leading the pack of three is the Luxmedia 10 X-3 (where X-3 stands for X-travagance, X-cellence and X-quisiteness), a camera baosting of a jaw dropping 10MegaPixel CCD and 2.4“ TFT color monitor. All cameras include a 3x optical and 4x digital zoom and menu in 16 languages. You can capture high resolution images and also video clips are no problem either. Photos with resolutions as high as 3648x2736 can be captured. The memory is bit of a disappointment though as it has only 32MB by default for a camera boasting of 10 MegaPixels, but you can extend the memory with the DS card slot provided.
The Praktica Luxmedia 6203 though comes with 6.0 Mega Pixel CCD and also 2,4“ TFT color monitor with 3x optical and 4x digital zoom. It also includes similar features to that of the X3 model, but what separates the two is the memory part as this model also comes with an even lower built in memory which is as low as 16MB and ofcourse you can always extend it with the help of the SD card slot provided.
The Praktica DCZ 6.3 is also a 6.1 Mega pixels digital camera but with 8.0 Mega pixels interpolation mode with 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom and feature 2.5†TFT color monitor and 32MB built-in memory. The focal length rages 7,94 – 22,71 mm and with exposure times from 2 to 1/1000 seconds and exposure values set up between +/- 2.0, images can be adapted manually as well. The PRAKTICA DCZ 6.3 uses standard alkaline batteries or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries and distinguishes itself by a low energy consumption. The already built-in 32 MB memory can be extended with additional SD cards.
All the three cameras comes with a USB cable, a TV cable, a software CD, a pouch, a wrist strap, a manual and a pair of batteries ans also feature PictBridge technology as well. No word on the pricing and availability as yet but we will keep you informed.
