Polaroid Japan recently unveiled its latest portable DVD player, the “PDJ-0753” which sports a 7 inch swivel LCD and a pretty compact form factor. The player has an aspect ratio of 16: 9 and supports only NTSC and not PAL. With its 202mm×150mm×40mm and its light weight body (0.75kg) the player offers true portability.

The PDJ-0753 has a decent battery life and can playback movies continuously for 3 hours. Via the swivel screen which can be rotated up to 180 degrees, anyone can enjoy the DVD player and is not restricted to one position. For safely securing the player in a car, Polaroid has also supplied a headrest holder which is installed in headrest of the car. The system also has an EPS function which reduces the impact of vibration and movements. Other accessories include car battery adapter and an AV cable for hooking g up the system to a home setup. The player is now available for about 19,800 Yen.
