Polaroid MGX-0550 GPS Device
The Polaroid MGX-0550 may not be the best GPS device on the face of the earth but it features an integrated DVD Player thus its deserves a mention. The MGX-0550 is a portable GPS device which comes preloaded with maps of the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Its pretty user friendly and Polaroid claims that it can be used right out of the box. It runs on the Sirf Star III GPS processor and maps can be viewed in both 2D and 3D. The GPS device includes a fairly large 5.6†TFT LCD with easy touch-screen operation which can also be read easily in the daytime. The GPS includes a whopping 1.6 million points of interests and is able to give out turn-by-turn directions.
The Polaroid MGX-0550 is also a full fledged DVD player and can also play audio cds. The intuitive interface makes navigation much simpler and the Electronic Skip Protection ensures uninterrupted playback no matter how bumpy the ride is! Thanks to the AV input and output users can connect other external devices to the GPS like digital camera, camcorder etc. The built in FM transmitter lets you enjoy music via the car speakers and the included splitter lets you connect two sets of headphones. The GPS device is available now in all Target stores.
