Polaroid have announced a 10 mega pixel compact camera called the Polaroid i1032 digicam. Users will no doubt be tempted by the digicam as not only does it offer a 10 MP resolution it is also priced under $300. Smart move by Polaroid, we must say.

The Polaroid i1032 has a 4x digital zoom and is perfect for the point and shoot users who don’t care much for manual controls and like their photography simple. However thanks to the 10 MP resolution serious photographers can also use the digicam as a back up. The Polaroid i1032 has a 2.4" LCD display and is also Pict-Bridge compatible. It includes a video mode which supports formats like MPEG-4, AVI, WAV and which has a resolution of 640 x 480. The in built flash has modes like Off, Auto, Red eye, reduction, Fill Flash and the camera is SD Memory-card compatible.
