Samsung adds a new light pink color to their SGH-E870 clamshell phone to attract more female buyers. The tri-band clamshell GSM phone boasts a large 256K color TFT LCD with resolutions of 176 x 220 and an extra external OLED display with resolutions of 96 x 80. Other than that, it touts a 1.3 megapixel built-in digital camera, speaker phone for conferencing, MP3 playback, video playback, 30 polyphonic ringtones, 1000 phonebook entries and photo call. The SGH-E870 comes with a large 80MB of internal memory which can be expanded via a Transflash/microSD slot. Transferring files will not be a problem with the integrated Bluetooth module and USB connection. The supported file formats are MP3, AAC, AAC++ and WMA. Other features include T9 input, organizer, voice memo, voice dial and Java games. SGH-E870 could last up to 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. It weights 85 grams with the size of 92 x 42 x 166 mm. The phone retails for about USD330.
