PM200Pal_216x144.jpgEpson America Inc today launched three printers which are perfect for home usage and are a part of the highly successful PictureMate(R) Personal Photo Lab Family Series by Epson. We shall look at all the printers and let’s begin with the PictureMate Pal. This new model may just be your best pal (sorry for the pun!) as it offers both convenience and functionality.

The PictureMate Pal like all PictureMate printers uses MicroPiezo(R) archival printing technology for vibrant and long lasting prints which are smudge, scratch, and water resistant. The printer also supports PictBridge devices and is compact enough to be carried anywhere. This one is quite a speed devil and can print 4" x 6" photos in just 60 seconds. Via the onboard auto photo correction feature one is able to get accurate tones and the results are much faster when compared to an ordinary printer.

As a bonus the printer includes a 2" premium photo viewer with a built-in tilt to view and preview the images before printing. It also supports Bluetooth printing via an optional adapter and includes a number of layout options like BorderFree(R) 4"x 6" photos, photos with classic borders, traditional wallet-sized photos, mini wallets, and proof sheets. One can print their images in color, black and white or sepia tones. The PictureMate Pal will be available soon and would retail for $149. For more info check out Product Page
