Axes Corp. in Japan announces the new digital media recording viewer and photo storage device, the Pict Star VP8360-B which will only hits the market from 10th July. It is only a DMB device which you will be able to watch TV programs in NTSC/PAL and it also has a FM tuner function. It boasts a 3.6-inch TFT LCD display screen with resolutions of 320 x 240, USB for easy transfer, and an integrated 100GH hard disk storage. What!? 100GB? Is that a typo? Nope, it does have 100GB of HDD memory storage.

The supported medias are Compact Flash, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, SD Card, miniSD Card, MMC and Micro Drive. If you are a hardcore photographers, i think you should get one for yourself. You won't need to pull out your memory card and put it in this device. You only need to connect the USB cable from your digital camera to Pict Star VP8360-B device and you can start the transfer.

There are list of supported camera over here. You will be able to store, movies, pictures and even music. The supported file formats for video are AVI / MOV / MPEG-1 /MPEG-4, music file formats are MP3 / WMA / WAV / CDA and picture file formats are JPEG / TIFF / BMP. Upon 4 hours of fully charged Li-ion battery, it can last up to 12 hours of music playback, 4 hours of video playback and you can transfer up to 38 times of 1GB CF card files.

It weight 236 grams with the size of 72 x 135 x 23mm. Pict Star VP8360-B will cost you a whooping 69,800Yen which is about USD607. Ouch! That gonna burn a hole in my pocket just only for a multi-storage device.
