FCC Approves Philips Xenium

Well, look what we found lurking around the FCC. The Philips Xenium just got approved. This seemingly entry-level phone features a clean interface and presents a 65k color screen. It's equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera.

The Xenium is a GSM phone and it presents the usual T9 interface for text input. Extras on the phone include a calculator, money converter, organizer and a world clock. You can record audio up to 12 minutes in duration.

Thankfully, it also features Bluetooth and Infrared. It also comes with a couple of basic games. It is compatible with GPRS for network access - and there's a WAP browser available on the phone.

No word on the pricing yet, but the FCC approval means it is on its way.
