Philips SA4000 DAP
Philips unveiled the SA4000 digital audio player, a seemingly entry-level player featuring 512MB of memory and a 2-line display with 7-color backlight. The SA4000 has got the usual controls on the front of the device, and it supports MP3, WAV and WMA.
They have also managed to fit in a mono microphone on the device for recording voice memos. There seems to be no way to expand the memory. The output delivered by the SA4000 is pretty minimal: 2 x 3mW. It is pretty portable, though, measuring just 31.5mm (W) X 23mm (D) X 77.8mm (H).
The SA4000 runs on a single AAA battery, but runs out after about 10 hours of playback - not much. Check out the features in the extended entry. No info on pricing yet.
