
Philips provided the world a glimpse of the future with its Integrated Version of its Electronic Multi-Touch Tabletop Gaming Platform Entertaible at IFA 2006. The Entertaible is an amalgamation of the good old board games (remember those?) and the hi-tech video games. Showcasing at the IFA currently Entertaible has a host of advanced technologies under its hood which result in simultaneous multi-user interaction, object detection and recognition. It is equipped with features like; 32-inch horizontal LCD, multi-touch and shape recognition technology, BaryBass(TM) for small-form factor bass reproduction, and PC-based control logic.
This path-breaking game promises to essay in a new trend and thanks to the patented digital shape recognition and multi-touch sensing technology one is able to achieve highly dynamic and interactive gaming environments. Via the simultaneous tracking technology one is able make moves in real time and thus makes the gameplay more intense.
