Philips has announced a series of personal compact GPS-navigator PNS (Personal Navigation System) - PNS 100, 200 and 150. All 3 models are supplied with special cradles with built-in amplifier and speaker with few control buttons. The cradles could be attached on your car windshield and you will be able to remove it without any leftover marks on it. It has two choices, you can either use the big button or touch screen to scale the map or to change the sound volume and access the menu. PNS 100 is a simple navigator with preinstalled maps of a single country and main roads in Europe. However, PNS120 is integrated with TMC-receiver to track traffic jams or road works and find alternative ways. With the double size memory, you can install detailed maps of other European countries from the DVD in the kit. PNS 150 comes with the maps of the whole Western Europe and it can be remotely operated. They have small dimensions; 10 cm long and less than 2 cm thick. It only weighs 160 grams. Both PNS 120 and 150 will be available in October meanwhile PNS100 will be in September.
