Philips FM TransmitterThis one's new. Has Philips ever had an FM transmitters for portable devices? I could not really dig out the name of this device, as the user manual uploaded at the FCC site is apparently in Chinese. I had to go through the circuit diagram to figure out what it was in the first place.

From the looks of it, the transmitter is compatible with a wide variety of devices, although we'll wait until Philips lets us in on the details. But this may give some serious competition to the iTrip. I am a big fan of Philips' audio systems, and hope this one doesn't disappoint either.

You can select the frequency that the device should transmit, and this is also displayed on the LCD, which is cool. Of course, it doesn't come in the pearl white that iTrip does, nor does it fit snugly with an iPod: this is more of a generic FM transmitter.

More details and pricing as soon as we get 'em. Details from Philips' website.
