PDR140_1.jpgMore of GPS goodness. Pharos unveiled its new GPS device, which is a part of their portable navigation series. The new Pharos Drive GPS 140 promises to be a one stop solution not only for your navigational but also multimedia needs! Lets just see what it has to offer us?

The Pharos GPS 140 is equipped with a 4-inch color touch screen display and comes preloaded with maps of Canada and the US. The onboard SiRFstarIII GPS chipset ensures top-notch accuracy. The new navigational device is also capable of giving the driver voice prompted turn by turn instructions and one will also dig its Bluetooth capabilities which lets one indulge in hands free calling without any hassles.

The new Pharos 140 has the award winning OSTIA” software under its hood, which helps in making the device more customizable and extremely user-friendly. Via the OSTIA software one can choose between 5 different languages and decide on methods of route calculation among others.

The Pharos GPS 140 also has a number of multimedia features like MP3 playback, photo viewing and video playback. It plays all the popular formats and one can hook the device to the in-vehicle sound system for full sound. The GPS device comes bundled with windshield mounting bracket, USB cable, AC charger, 12-volt DC car charger and 2GB SD car.
