PayPal Goes Mobile
Love it or hate it, but you can’t just ignore it. No we are not talking about Paris Hilton but the other P, you know Paypal. Paypal is once again making their presence felt as now they have plans to go mobile. Paypal the world's chief provider of online payment services today announced the PayPal Mobile which will be first seen in countries like United States, Canada and Britain and soon follow worldwide. Through this service users can make financial transfers and purchases by texting through mobile phones and don’t have to connect online.
This news first got leaked over the internet and now Paypal confirms the PayPal Mobile Service. It will have a feature called “Text to Buy†which would let magazine readers make purchases which are advertised by messaging the supplied code. PayPal Mobile requires the subscribers to create a singular personal identification number, or PIN, in order to use a mobile phone to transfer funds. Users will be able to send a text message with the amount of money they wish to transfer and the recipient's phone number which would in turn be confirmed by Paypal via the phone before moving the funds. www.paypal.com
