All soughts of things are being approved at the FCC lately, the latest approved device is from the Paris-based Parrot. The Parrot 3200 LS-Color is an advanced hands-free kit for your vehicle. This was granted approval by the FCC, so it should hit the streets soon.

The device allows you to make and receive calls when driving. This Bluetooth-enabled device can be paired with your cell phone, and if your phone allows it, the battery and signal levels can be shown on the 3200 LS-Color screen.

The 3200 LS-Color displays your phonebook, so you don't have to look at your phone's tiny screen while driving (apparently, the phone book sync begins automatically). If you have set an image for the caller, the photo and name are displayed conveniently. The device also allows you to mute the car stereo during a call.

Call records are maintained as well on the 3200. It is compatible with several phone models, including those from Samsung and Sony Ericsson. No pricing info yet, but details should be available soon.
