Pantech PG-C120 coming to Cingular?
Pantech had unveiled the Pantech PG-C120 at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The PG-C120 is a basic phone. It has a 65K color 128 x 128 pixel display, a VGA camera, and a Li-ion 800mAh battery that supposedly provides up to 250 hours of stand-by time and just 3 hours of talk time. The only appreciable aspect of the phone is its slim design.
The latest news doing the rounds is that the FCC has approved the PG-C120. You can read all the reports here. There's also a rumor going around that Cingular will be offering this phone in the United States. Now, why would Cingular want to do that? Couldn't Cingular find any phone other than the PG-C120? I sincerely hope that this piece of news is just a rumor.
