Panasonic's Commits To The Everest Peace Project
Computer Solutions Company is reaffirming their commitment to the Everest Peace Project by supplying the climbers with the Panasonic Toughbook notebooks and their line of rugged PDAs. The Peace Project entails 10 international climbers from different countries and they face climbing the Tallest Mountain in the world (Mt Everest, for the uninitiated) for peace. This noble journey would last for a demanding 65 days where they would support concepts like peace, solidarity and cultural acceptance.
The team would require high tech machinery like the Toughbook and Panasonic PDAs for receiving critical information like weather updates and for communication with loved ones during the expedition. They will also post and broadcast daily happenings and videos, thus the MIL-STD-810F-tested notebooks are perfect for such extreme conditions.
