panasonic_sv_mp010.jpgItching for another portable digital music player sporting a PlaysForSure logo? Well, your wait is over: Panasonic unveiled its new SV-MP010 player (no image posted yet), which is able to play music downloaded from certified online music stores.

If there's one word to describe the SV-MP010, it's compact. Just about the size of a lipstick, it boasts 10GB of storage and features MP3 and WMA playback. On a single AA battery, Panasonic claims a playing time of up to 75 hours.

A tiny two-line LCD is provided to view song information. Desktop connectivity is via a USB port. It is available in white or pink in March 2006, for just US $99.99. Visit Panasonic for more information.
