EA-LOGO.jpgAnother new mobile game to look forward this season is the Orcs & Elves a joint effort of big names like EA, id Software and Fountainhead Entertainment. The game promises to thrill players with its first person turned fantasy RPG game play and its next generation DOOM RPG graphics engine which results in animated imagery and an enhanced gaming experience. The story as the name suggests transports the player to a magical world where he has to engage in warfare and comes across hidden treasures and historical forts.

Orcs & Elves thus is a heroic mobile game where users will get engrossed in a world of sorcery and ancient weapons. The game includes a rich story line and users can opt from wide array of weapons like flaming swords, powerful cross bows and magic potions as they collide head on with evil forces like trolls, dark elves and the undead. The major goal of the game is to save the wonderful and magical land of the Dwarven citadel from dark forces. The game will be available first to Verizon Wireless Get it Now(R) customers on May 9 and will follow by a nationwide release in June. EA's homepage via online game site http://www.ign.com/

"The formative computer games of my youth were fantasy games, so I am happy to finally bring one to market," said John Carmack, founder and technical director, id Software. "Orcs & Elves has been explicitly designed to play to the strengths and avoid the weaknesses of the mobile platform, with easy game play, a tight design, and a rewarding presentation of a world we think players will want to see more of." "Creating a rich world for the mobile market where players can immerse themselves at any time or any place is truly rewarding," said Katherine Kang, CEO, Fountainhead Entertainment. "It's exciting to see games evolving on this platform."
