Oracom recently announced the UB890 mp3 player with plans to release it on the Korean market, and to expand their business today they decided to let the world know of the introduction on the European market with the Oracom UB-1000. This mp3 player supports digital audio broadcasting which is a common feature in some devices of the same kind, but this one has the particularity of being able to play DAB and mp3s at the same time.

Other normal features are the audio support of MP3, WMA, OGG and WAV; while on the video support it can play MPEG, AVI, WMV and ASF; for last the image viewing is compatible with JPEG and BMP file formats. The extras that are not so common on other mp3 players include the slide show feature & custom wallpaper; and adjustable font sizes when reading an ebook.

The Oracom UB-1000 is suppose to have its first appearances during October on the European market, no info about the price.
