oppo_x5mini.jpgNothing really spectacular about this mp3 player but we felt it was worth mentioning because of its, um, "interesting" design.

We're talking about the X5 mini from Guandong, China-based company Oppo. It actually reminds me of some transformer-like robots that I used to play with as a kid and appears to be targetted at China's young and hip market.

The device has 256MB of built in memory, supports mp3, wma and wav, and has a built in FM radio. It connects to a computer via USB 2.0 and also supports line in recording. It also comes with some pretty cool Sennheiser MX400 ear buds.

It retails for 998 Yuan in China or about $123. Via The MP3 Players.
