Oomo is about 40 years old, but it looks like a very brand new company. I say that because there is only one product on their website. The Roomo promises to be the lightest portable cot/playpen on the market, at less than 16 pounds (7.2 kg). For parents who travel a lot with little children, the Roomo looks like a very handy tool.

The Roomo will work from any newborn to baby 30 pounds (14 kg) in weight. Its frame is made of aluminum, and easy to assemble with a central locking frame. Assembled, it is about 3.1 x 3.2 x 3.2 feet (94 x 100 x 100 cm), and can fold compactly to 2.6 x 0.75 x 0.75 feet (80 x 24 x 24 cm).

The Roomo travel cot/playpen is available at branches of Mothercare and John Lewis.
