Olympus FE-170 Digital Camera

Olympus announced the new Olympus FE-170 6.0-million pixel digital camera, bundled with dollops of on-screen help to explain even the tiniest of camera settings. The FE-170 offers 3x optical zoom.
Graced with a 2.5" preview LCD, the FE-170 comes in a compact design allowing you to carry it around with ease. Searching through menus to find what you need is eliminated thanks to the "one-button, one-function" design principle on which the FE-170 is based.
The Olympus FE-170 offers ten different scene modes, including Sports, Fireworks and Self-portrait. The macro mode is especially useful for close-range photography (up to 5 cm focusing range). Compatible with xD picture cards, the camera comes with Olympus Master Software for PCs to download photos.
Pricing for the Olympus FE-170 is not yet available, but the camera will start shipping in September 2006. Check the extended entry for more features.
