32136305-2-300-overview-1.gifThe ultra cool Oakley Thump Pro Sunglasses have been reviewed by the good folks of Cnet and let's see how it fared in their eyes (no pun intended!). These multimedia glasses were liked for its in-built MP3 Player, its straightforward design and its compatibility with both PC and MAC. However the sunglasses are a tad pricey, don't have an universal appeal and have a max capacity of 1GB.

The Oakley Thump Pro Sunglasses is available in a number of capacities including; 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB and color combos like Polished Black/Grey, Polished Black/Black Iridium, Brown Smoke/Dark Bronze, and Crystal Black/Black Iridium. Since they are extremely sporty and light-weight, the glasses would be ideal for runners, cyclists etc. Equipped with a standard miniUSB port, the glasses are compatible with both Mac and Windows and it support MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV and WMAs purchased from online stores.

In the end the website writes "Audio quality isn't stellar. Hip-hop tracks sounded a bit bright and lacking in depth for our tastes, but rock tracks sounded quite good. The low end is lacking overall, but you can get some bass if you really shove the earbuds in. The high end, however, was crystal clear and detailed across genres. All in all, music seemed to be lacking a bit in warmth, but in the final analysis was passable for the convenience of having an MP3 player integrated into a pair of sunglasses."
