Good news for all you O2 fans, the much anticipated O2 Zinc will finally see a January Release, so start saving up. However for now it will only be available to our British friends and I guess the rest of us will just have to twiddle our thumbs. The O2 XDA Zinc is a tri-band GSM handset that supports 3G connectivity and is a Windows Powered Smartphone.

The Zinc is powered by the Intel PXA270 520MHz processor and is equipped with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 2 megapixel camera. Some other features include; Bluetooth 2.0, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and all the Microsoft Mobile Applications. No word on pricing.
