    Nokia N90 Now Shipping in the USNokia N90, a WCDMA/EDGE smartphone running Symbian OS and featuring Nokia's hugely popular Series 60 (now S60) platform, is now available in the US. At present, Cingular does not seem to be present in the equation, though it may change over time.

    While the inner screen sports a 352 x 416 pixel resolution 18-bit color display, the outer screen is capable of 128 x 128 resolution and 16-bit colors. At 173 grams, it's bound to be a bit uncomfortable, but hey, you won't find me complaining with the host of features this baby has. With a Carl Zeiss lens and 2 megapixel camera (and 20x digital zoom!), you can now take clearer images with the N90.

    It's got all the features you would want in a smartphone, and then some. E-mail clients for POP3 and IMAP4, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, XHTML, WAP 2.0 support, etc. are some of the features. The Nokia N90 comes with audio playback support for AAC, AAC+, MP3, RealAudio and others. Storage capacity can be increased with an RS-MMC card.

    It is slated for availability online in November at Ritz Camera's website, costing around US $399 with activation.
