Nokia N71 in Japan
Finally the Japanese market gets a taste of the N Series made by Nokia, the company announced a few days the shipping of Nokia N71 to Japan and for the happiness of all the Nokia fans it became available to the public since yesterday - Vodafone K.K. are the ones providing the product which has been specially renamed to Vodafone 804NK. This will become the fourth cellphone with 3G technology that Nokia launches on Japan, first being Nokia 6650, second was Nokia 6630 and the third was Nokia 6680.
About the cellphone itself it is full of good features which corresponds to the habit of the N series, here are some: a 2.0 Megapixel camera to record videos and take beautiful (or not) photos that can be seen on the 2.4-inch QVGA LCD screen; being able to open/edit different Microsoft files such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint; visit websites with a special browser just like you were checking them on a normal computer; send/receive e-mails; listen to MP3s or radio; there is also a small camera on top of the screen so you can make video calls with ease and much more. Of course it has the usual bluetooth and infrared features to communicate with other devices.
The success of the N series can be proved by the sales results that Nokia has provided, with nine models on the market and three million devices sold during the second quarter, it's no surprise to see more "N series" being introduced in other countries. This is actually the first model of the N series that went to Japan, but I can see more of them in the future.
